Monthday!

Okay, yet another August post. There is a lot going on this month! Duncan's monthday actually happened the same day Logan turned 5, but we didn't want to steal his thunder, so here's the monthday photos I took a couple of weeks late. :)    11 Months Old and Squirmy  Duncan is really thriving right now. He's up and cruising, laughing, eating everything he can get into his mouth without our seeing...well you know, 4th child stuff! He is still very tall (!) and is a guy on the move. I had trouble getting a photo of him with his little label. Duncan kept trying to run away.         Nice hair    He has lots of hair, and it always seems to have food in it. Another full contact eater in our house I guess.  He loves to play with his brothers, and he follows them around if they come in the room. It's too cute for words. Everything you hope for as a mom. Apparently he even has agreed to pull his brothers around on his walker. Free ri...

More August Fun

Downtown Chairs  So many things happened this month that I needed another post just to get them in (and I still don't have Duncan's 11 month photos in here yet).  That first picture is Jack, downtown, in a strange sort of spinning chair on the 16th St. Mall. It looked like fun but kind of freaked me out because it always seemed like he was about to topple out of it. The photo is from Logan's birthday, but the birthday boy got his own post! Serious Spencer  Spencer has such an easygoing sense of humor, and a quick smile. At the same time he can be the most serious of the boys! We also find it hilarious when he answers us "uh huh". I'm not sure what makes it so funny. Maybe we are all just exhauseted! After Logan's birthday (well, actually for part of it) he wanted to go to Walsenburg to Papa and Nonie's house so we did. We got to visit with Aunt Nettie, Uncle Marty, and Brytyn. It was really fun. I didn't take too ...

Happy Birthday Logan!

Someone's 5 Years Old! I can hardly believe that our Logan is 5 years old! He has grown into such an awesome little man. He went to the doctor and everything checked out great. What a fun day he had on his birthday. It was jam-packed with activity. We started the day off with Dad home! A fun present of Dad being home from work. We opened presents right after waking up, so he would be able to use them all day long. He wanted a Transformers birthday, so that's what he got! We all had a fun lunch of Mac and Cheese, then we had an adventure! When the six of us and all four grandparents do stuff together we have taken to calling ourselves the Super Wonderful Adventure Club. This time SWAC met for Logan's birthday. First we took the Light Rail commuter train downtown. It was the first ride for all the kids, and Logan thought it was a fun present! Mom and Logan on the train When we got downtown we made our way to one of the city's escape rooms. This is the secon...
