Monthday!

Okay, yet another August post. There is a lot going on this month! Duncan's monthday actually happened the same day Logan turned 5, but we didn't want to steal his thunder, so here's the monthday photos I took a couple of weeks late. :)

11 Months Old and Squirmy
Duncan is really thriving right now. He's up and cruising, laughing, eating everything he can get into his mouth without our seeing...well you know, 4th child stuff! He is still very tall (!) and is a guy on the move. I had trouble getting a photo of him with his little label. Duncan kept trying to run away.

Nice hair

He has lots of hair, and it always seems to have food in it. Another full contact eater in our house I guess.  He loves to play with his brothers, and he follows them around if they come in the room. It's too cute for words. Everything you hope for as a mom.

Apparently he even has agreed to pull his brothers around on his walker. Free rides for big brothers. I'm not sure how long that will last.

Anyway, I think August will slow down after this. Moving on to an eventful September when someone is going to be ONE!

Until next time...

Angel or Devil?

Kids. They are too funny. I had to share this one with all of you. We went to Mass today and tried to sit inside for once. Everything was great, until Jack noticed the missal in the pew had these nice orange and yellow squares or something in the illustration on the cover. He was conviced they were dominoes, but that is a word he struggles to say. So, at an especially quiet time in the Mass he looks at me and says, "damn-yous! damn-yous!" We both had a mix of embarassment and laughter. Only out of the mouth of a 2 year old! We went to the back of the church soon after that. :)

Happy Birthday Jack

Here are some photos from Jack's 2nd birthday day, and party. He was so excited he was telling everyone happy birthday! We 'filled' his room with balloons while he was sleeping. He was so excited to wake up to balloons! Jack wanted to pose with his new favorite toy - Buzz! They are still usually only separated at nighttime (too tempting to make noise all night). Oh, and that is his 'camera' smile. He uses it whenever he sees the lens pointed at him. So cheesy! Blowing out the candles on his Spiderman cake. Yes, all the other stuff is Thomas the Train. He likes what he likes. Jack wasn't about to let Emerson go home without a hug. It was a hug, not an attack. Promise!

Easter

Easter has come and gone, but finally I have some photos uploaded! We had a nice time and enjoyed spending time with Grandma and Grandpa C, Antie and Uncle John Tressell , and Uncle Robert, Aunt Natalie, and Emerson. Jack really enjoyed hunting for eggs (for a few days he asked us to hide them again so he could find them), but was a bit disappointed when they no longer had animal cracker in them. Anyway better late than never. I'll put all the photos on Flickr . :) Painting Eggs They actually sat still for three seconds! Family Photo - Easter 2011 Until next time...
