Five Boys Happy Home

Sorry this is late!  We have had a few very busy weeks here. Many medical appointments (all checkups) and other fun things. We had optometrist appointments. Spencer goes back in 6 months to see if his astigmatism is worse and perhaps needs glasses. Logan goes in six months to see about starting vision therapy for his lazy eyes. No big surprises and eyes are healthy otherwise. Yay! This Mom? Is this what I'm not supposed to grab? Duncan turned 8 months old this month. He is sitting up and rolling around all the time. He loves toys as well as watching his brothers. It was pretty much impossible to get a photo without him grabbing the little logo. Where is it Mom? We also had the end of school Field Day for Jack's PE PLUS program. Logan is starting in the fall and he was able to participate as well. What a fun day! Well, it's already another month and Duncan is over the first year hill - he's 7 months old! He loves to watch his brothers play. He also plays with his own toys quite a bit. His newest trick is sitting up. Already outgrowing his 3-6 and 6 month sized clothes. Holy moley! In other news...and we (I) have been waiting a long time to be able to do this...we are finally able to replace our washer and dryer. They were old-ish (13 years) and had some knobs that required pliers to operate. They were the old agitator type and we have been saving up to buy some high capacity and more energy efficient models. And today's the day! I am already washing the second load. Laundry piles up in my house, and being without a washer and dryer since Saturday actually causes quite the backlog of laundry!
