Happy Monthday Tall & Slim!!

Happy second Monthday to Duncan! He is such a happy little guy. Smiling and laughing at us. (With us?)

He is looking at his brothers as I took this picture.

Our visit to the doctor went well. He is just where he needs to be developmentally.

He is also growing quickly! He weighed 10 lb 8 oz, and came in at just over 23 inches long!

The nurse measures his length twice. At first I thought it was so she could verify that he was not as long as expected. To my surprise it was just the opposite. It was to double check how tall he is! (Can you tell she knows our family?) Duncan is in the 75% for his length!!!

WHAT?!?

I was surprised too. Neat!

Jack went in to check his height and weight as well. Great news here. 40 + lbs and taller too (45"!!). His medicine is working and we don't have to check his growth outside the annual checkup.

Logan has a Duncan of his own, and he wanted a picture of both of them. Pretty cute! And Logan has been a great dad to his baby.

Angel or Devil?

Kids. They are too funny. I had to share this one with all of you. We went to Mass today and tried to sit inside for once. Everything was great, until Jack noticed the missal in the pew had these nice orange and yellow squares or something in the illustration on the cover. He was conviced they were dominoes, but that is a word he struggles to say. So, at an especially quiet time in the Mass he looks at me and says, "damn-yous! damn-yous!" We both had a mix of embarassment and laughter. Only out of the mouth of a 2 year old! We went to the back of the church soon after that. :)

Happy Birthday Jack

Here are some photos from Jack's 2nd birthday day, and party. He was so excited he was telling everyone happy birthday! We 'filled' his room with balloons while he was sleeping. He was so excited to wake up to balloons! Jack wanted to pose with his new favorite toy - Buzz! They are still usually only separated at nighttime (too tempting to make noise all night). Oh, and that is his 'camera' smile. He uses it whenever he sees the lens pointed at him. So cheesy! Blowing out the candles on his Spiderman cake. Yes, all the other stuff is Thomas the Train. He likes what he likes. Jack wasn't about to let Emerson go home without a hug. It was a hug, not an attack. Promise!

Easter

Easter has come and gone, but finally I have some photos uploaded! We had a nice time and enjoyed spending time with Grandma and Grandpa C, Antie and Uncle John Tressell , and Uncle Robert, Aunt Natalie, and Emerson. Jack really enjoyed hunting for eggs (for a few days he asked us to hide them again so he could find them), but was a bit disappointed when they no longer had animal cracker in them. Anyway better late than never. I'll put all the photos on Flickr . :) Painting Eggs They actually sat still for three seconds! Family Photo - Easter 2011 Until next time...
