Ice Bucket Challenge Accepted!

Okay folks, So we were challenged by my brother Robert to complete the Ice Bucket Challenge for ALS. ALS is more commonly known as Lou Gherig's Disease. Maybe you've heard of this awareness and fundraising campaign, or maybe you haven't. If you want more information you can visit this website I found: ALS Foundation We thought the video was quite hilarious, especially Logan - poor fellow. Anyone can do this challenge, and/or donate to their cause. We were proud of Jack for doing it - especially because he hates being (a) cold and (b) having water on his face. What a champ! Seven Month Photos! Chicken Pox!!!

Wow, I really cannot believe Spencer is already seven months old. It is going by so quickly!  He has been very busy learning to roll over and sit up. Since the current "in thing" for my kids is The LEGO Movie , we had a LEGO birthday. It was quite the crowd with all three of our boys, plus all three of their cousins, Grandma and Grandpa C, Nonie and Papa S., Uncle John, Antie, Uncle Robert, and Aunt Natalie. All the bigger kids had a good time building Duplo or LEGO sets and watching The LEGO Movie in the background. Did I mention my kids are obsessed with that movie?   Build Time at the LEGO party This year I tried something new - fondant. I found a LEGO mini-figure mold for cake and I wanted to make that for Logan. I didn't really want to cover him with icing stars, since LEGO are smooth, so I decided to try fondant, and it was really fun to use! At the party, we used the mini-figure cake, and I tried to duplicate one of Logan's favorite characte...
