Happy Father's Day

What an exciting Father's Day! Scott and I were talking last night, and agreed that if anyone had told us seven years ago we would have three awesome kids we would never have believed it.

But here it is Father's Day with three awesome kids!

This year as a gift, we thought outside the box. Shook things up a bit. Well, he still got the usual computer type gift - we are traditional after all! However, Scott has seen our garden and mentioned that it would be fun to try hydroponic gardening. On a whim I visited the Aerogarden website and they were having a big sale! So we bought Dad a small, starter, 3-plant indoor garden. He has already planted! (The boys chose the penguin garden)

It will be great to compare to our outdoor garden. And it's another great life science teaching tool to boot. We may have green thumbs after all!

Angel or Devil?

Kids. They are too funny. I had to share this one with all of you. We went to Mass today and tried to sit inside for once. Everything was great, until Jack noticed the missal in the pew had these nice orange and yellow squares or something in the illustration on the cover. He was conviced they were dominoes, but that is a word he struggles to say. So, at an especially quiet time in the Mass he looks at me and says, "damn-yous! damn-yous!" We both had a mix of embarassment and laughter. Only out of the mouth of a 2 year old! We went to the back of the church soon after that. :)

Happy Birthday Jack

Here are some photos from Jack's 2nd birthday day, and party. He was so excited he was telling everyone happy birthday! We 'filled' his room with balloons while he was sleeping. He was so excited to wake up to balloons! Jack wanted to pose with his new favorite toy - Buzz! They are still usually only separated at nighttime (too tempting to make noise all night). Oh, and that is his 'camera' smile. He uses it whenever he sees the lens pointed at him. So cheesy! Blowing out the candles on his Spiderman cake. Yes, all the other stuff is Thomas the Train. He likes what he likes. Jack wasn't about to let Emerson go home without a hug. It was a hug, not an attack. Promise!

Easter

Easter has come and gone, but finally I have some photos uploaded! We had a nice time and enjoyed spending time with Grandma and Grandpa C, Antie and Uncle John Tressell , and Uncle Robert, Aunt Natalie, and Emerson. Jack really enjoyed hunting for eggs (for a few days he asked us to hide them again so he could find them), but was a bit disappointed when they no longer had animal cracker in them.
