Doc Hudson, Or Maybe His Brother...

Hello again!

I guess I'm on a roll this week and I'm actually uploading most of my photos. I am trying to get Jack's uploaded this week too but we'll just have to see.  **Editor's Note: Yup, there's some on his blog now**

Monday was another exciting day. Jack, Buzz, and I went with Grandma and Grandpa to the Clive Cussler Museum.  Here's a link to their page - you should check it out if you love or even like classic cars:

Here are a few shots of the cars we saw at the museum. Of course, I was so busy taking shots, I didn't write down the names of the cars, or photograph their notecards close up. Guess we'll have to go back!

Jack Loves Green Cars!
Stanley Steamer! How Cool!

Jack Found His Favorite!

Doc Hudson, just like the movie!

Anyway it is a great idea in the area for a half-day excursion up to Arvada.  All of the cars were great! There was even a 1956 Fairlane, but I forgot to snap a shot of it I think. I did get a shot of the Stanley Steamer, which I'll put here and I'll put most of the rest on Flickr so you can see them if you want to.

**I've been having trouble with outside sources like Flickr being able to read from our server so give me some time on the photos**

Until Next Time!

Angel or Devil?

Kids. They are too funny. I had to share this one with all of you. We went to Mass today and tried to sit inside for once. Everything was great, until Jack noticed the missal in the pew had these nice orange and yellow squares or something in the illustration on the cover. He was conviced they were dominoes, but that is a word he struggles to say. So, at an especially quiet time in the Mass he looks at me and says, "damn-yous! damn-yous!" We both had a mix of embarassment and laughter. Only out of the mouth of a 2 year old! We went to the back of the church soon after that. :)

Happy Birthday Jack

Here are some photos from Jack's 2nd birthday day, and party. He was so excited he was telling everyone happy birthday! We 'filled' his room with balloons while he was sleeping. He was so excited to wake up to balloons! Jack wanted to pose with his new favorite toy - Buzz! They are still usually only separated at nighttime (too tempting to make noise all night). Oh, and that is his 'camera' smile. He uses it whenever he sees the lens pointed at him. So cheesy! Blowing out the candles on his Spiderman cake. Yes, all the other stuff is Thomas the Train. He likes what he likes. Jack wasn't about to let Emerson go home without a hug. It was a hug, not an attack. Promise!

Easter

Easter has come and gone, but finally I have some photos uploaded! We had a nice time and enjoyed spending time with Grandma and Grandpa C, Antie and Uncle John Tressell , and Uncle Robert, Aunt Natalie, and Emerson. Jack really enjoyed hunting for eggs (for a few days he asked us to hide them again so he could find them), but was a bit disappointed when they no longer had animal cracker in them. Anyway better late than never. I'll put all the photos on Flickr . :) Painting Eggs They actually sat still for three seconds! Family Photo - Easter 2011 Until next time...
