The Spiderman & Friends board book. I have read it at bed-time about one million times already. And now I know the correct names and backgrounds of many super-heroes (thank you Scott!) because I hated saying, "I don't know who that one is Jack, ask your dad."
The Spiderman Wall Decal (yes, it is huge). Scared me when I first walked in, but Jack loved it. It has the added bonus of distracting him during diaper changes, which pleases me to no end. The first night it was on the wall, Jack slept all the way against his headboard so he could see it from his crib. Now, if that's not loyalty I'm not sure what is.
And then, Jack met his new friend. For some reason, the dimensions of this guy did not register when I ordered it online. Talk about life sized (the movie has been acting up but we are working on it):
But he's fond of it and always wants me to take Spidey out of the crib when he is playing in his room. Sometimes Spidey even goes downstairs, but usually he gets nabbed with guard duty and stays up protecting the crib. But we realized tonight just how much Jack likes him. Too cute:
That's like having another kid! Mary L. PS: Very cute!
