Latest Update- 6 months old today!

Phew, time gets away from me it seems! There has been a lot going on since Labor Day.

Tomorrow is his 6 month visit, so there will be more after that, but here is all the great things he has done. In our opinion, and yes, we're biased.

1. Sits up on his own for a while

2. Rolls, scoots, or moves backwards to get where he wants to go.

3. Gets up on his hands and toes (but stops there)

4. Loves, and I mean, loves, to eat

5. Babbles to himself, to his toys, and to us. "Da-da-da" usually, or "yum-um-um" when he's eating.

6. Smiles and laughs when he sees Daddy.

7. Smiles and laughs when he sees pictures of people he knows (or people he knows) - especially his cousin Emerson. :)

8. Fits in size 2 diapers now!

9. Drinks from a bottle (finally)

10. Fascinated by Seamus and Pokie, or any picture of a cat.

11. Knows his name fairly well.

So, that is an impressive list, even if it's me talking. We think he may be getting teeth soon because he's reverted to not being able to fall asleep on his own, and wakes up in the middle of the night and cannot go back to sleep like he used to be able to. :( Hope this ends soon.

He has been a trooper despite Scott's having to work 6 and 7 day weeks. Scott and I are both exhausted from it, but for the most part, Jack has been cheerful, despite not being "sleep-full"

April and May....Boy am I behind!

All Smiles....Look What I Can Reach! Cruisin' Another Type of Crusin' Wow, the Spring got away from me, as you can tell by the long time between posts! We have not felt like we had a lot going on, but I guess we have! Jack is doing great, and his potty training is pretty much finished (as much as it can be for a 3 year old I guess). We visited a few Pre-Schools and finally decided on one, and luckily they had room for us! It is really hard for me to wrap my head around the fact that Jack is going to start school - even if it's only two mornings a week! He also got his first bicycle (Lightning McQueen, of course) and he is learning the ropes of riding it. Our neighborhood has a lot of hills so he kind of prefers riding at the State Park where the road is a bit less up and down. Actually, all three of us got new bicycles and we hope to start to ride them as a family once Logan is old enough to wear a helmet and ride in the pull-behind. Baby Buzz (yes, ...

New Ride!

Well, it's no Mustang, but it is black! What we got was a 2009 Pontiac Vibe. At any rate, we both like it. It was a reasonable price for a smaller sized family-with-lots-of-stuff car. It served the purpose of "ease of child seat access" and "can load many groceries plus a dog" into the back. (You should have seen us try to get the rocking chair into the Mustang.) It also serves the gas economy purpose (31/28 advertised) and was not a big SUV, or a minivan. I have never been fond of driving huge cars or trucks! It looks like a five door hatchback to us, but I guess it is technically listed as a "wagon." Some things go full circle, eh Mom? Maybe a bit cooler than the Corona Wagon we drove in Texas, or whatever it was called. Sorry the photo isn't super great, it's raining and cold so I pretty much didn't want to go out of the garage. 4th of July and Other Buzz News

Greetings to all! I have finally had time to upload some more photos for Flickr and the blog and can keep you up to date on the Buzz around our water cooler, so to speak. :-) We've had a busy 2 months! Nonie and Papa Sudar came to visit for a few weeks at the end of June and through the 4th of July. We all had a good time. We spent a few days down in Walsenburg with most of the Tressells which Jack really enjoyed. And we really enjoyed the small break from constantly watching Jack! Thanks everyone!! Catch Papa!
