Leg Mystery Solved?

Well, I spent a bit of Sunday afternoon at the hospital trying to solve the mystery of the Sore Leg. The Dr. told me to call if the leg pain "changed, or got worse."  It was twanging in my calf a little bit on Saturday.  Then on Sunday I got up for lunch and it kind of collapsed under me because of a really sharp pain in my calf.  Then it was sore and numb.  So I called the Dr. and she sent me to the ER to get an ultrasound of my leg.  

I have to say it's kind of odd to be pushed around a hospital in a bed. 

Well, the good news is that there was no blood clot in my leg! The other news is the Dr. at the ER thought it was likely Sciatica.  Which will only get worse because I will only get bigger.  BUT, it is not a life threatening problem, so I'll take that any day over a blood clot.  

At least the mystery is solved!  Have a nice day!

Kids. They are too funny. I had to share this one with all of you. We went to Mass today and tried to sit inside for once. Everything was great, until Jack noticed the missal in the pew had these nice orange and yellow squares or something in the illustration on the cover. He was conviced they were dominoes, but that is a word he struggles to say. So, at an especially quiet time in the Mass he looks at me and says, "damn-yous! damn-yous!" We both had a mix of embarassment and laughter. Only out of the mouth of a 2 year old! We went to the back of the church soon after that. :)

Happy Birthday Jack

Here are some photos from Jack's 2nd birthday day, and party. He was so excited he was telling everyone happy birthday! We 'filled' his room with balloons while he was sleeping. He was so excited to wake up to balloons! Jack wanted to pose with his new favorite toy - Buzz! They are still usually only separated at nighttime (too tempting to make noise all night). Oh, and that is his 'camera' smile. He uses it whenever he sees the lens pointed at him. So cheesy! Blowing out the candles on his Spiderman cake. Yes, all the other stuff is Thomas the Train. He likes what he likes. Jack wasn't about to let Emerson go home without a hug. It was a hug, not an attack. Promise!

Easter

Easter has come and gone, but finally I have some photos uploaded! We had a nice time and enjoyed spending time with Grandma and Grandpa C, Antie and Uncle John Tressell , and Uncle Robert, Aunt Natalie, and Emerson. Jack really enjoyed hunting for eggs (for a few days he asked us to hide them again so he could find them), but was a bit disappointed when they no longer had animal cracker in them.
