Five Boys Happy Home

Things are going well here with the Clan. Duncan is two weeks old, and had a check up on Thursday.  He has already passed his birth weight and is a whopping 6lb 15 oz!! He also grew a half inch to 20".  Jack is doing great also. He is enjoying his Physical Education class. It's for grades K-3, and I have been impressed with the coach, the other kids, and the bigger kids who help as they wait for their class to start.  Jack also joined Cub Scouts and is really excited about it. He looks so grown up in his uniform!! The smallest uniform is so big though!  Logan is enjoying preschool, and the field trips the big kids have had while Scott was home all day. He enjoyed the Power of Poison exhibit at the Museum of Nature and Science. He also enjoyed Day out with Thomas. (They all did) 🚂 Spencer really likes being a big brother! Happy 1 week birthday to Duncan! We are all so glad to have finally met him.  Finding a routine is an imperfect process at best, but we are navigating the waters fairly well. Time and rest can only make it better.  We are all enjoying our week of family time - no work or school. I think it's great for bonding. Scott will have two weeks of half days before returning full time. We will have half days of school too as we learn to include Duncan. 😀 Thanks everyone for the kind words and prayers.  Until next time...

Good morning everyone! After a night of "sleep" I am feeling much more coherent and can get this post written.  We are excited to introduce to you our newest little boy! Duncan Garrett Christensen  Born at 0630 on September 11 Weight: 6 lb 7 oz Height: 19.5 inches  He is doing great and currently his hair is dark blonde. Just dark newborn eyes right now! Duncan is for sure a Christensen brother.  Jack was excited to meet his new brother ' Logan says that, "New baby is awesome!!" Spencer wasn't sure, but he's coming around.
