Three Weeks. Yes, another photo...

We have survived three weeks! We are still pretty exhausted, but it has been fun nonetheless. Spencer had a great checkup at the pediatrician on Monday. He is already 7 lb 11 oz - one pound over his birth weight, which is awesome. His numbers are all about average - in the 20-30%.  Jack has had a busy week as well.  He had a recital last Sunday at preschool. All this week was Lutheran Schools Week so there were fun activities at school each day. Today was "Parent Appreciation" and I was invited to a teddy bear picnic. Jack also made us a keychain with his hand drawn self portrait.  Cute! Logan has been busy learning to be a big brother and helping out at home. He is usually found playing monster trucks, or Dusty Crophopper (from Planes ).  Scott just finished his last week of half days, so next week we are Back To Normal. Ready or not!  Until next time...

2 Weeks

Hey! Not much more news, but there are more pictures of Spencer, in case you wanted to see them. He's growing and doing well.  So are the rest of us, though we are fighting off colds.  Jack is having fun at school, and Logan is happier that our routine is *almost* back to normal. Well, the new normal. This was just a quick note, mostly for the photos that some people I know are waiting for. :) Until next time!

Four Bells and All's Well

Hey! We survived our first week without too much chaos, or sleep. Everyone is still trying to figure out the new routine and how to make sure everyone gets some Mom time and Dad time. Jack has been a really wonderful helper and usually takes breaks to come see Spencer. "He's just so cute" Jack usually comments. Logan is slowly warming to Spencer. From experience we knew it would take him a while. Watching Jack has helped. He's starting to bring me hats and blankets and stuff for Spencer. He does like that he's a big brother now, not just a little brother. Must be the best of both worlds! Scott starts back at Lockheed tomorrow working half days for two weeks. We thought it would help (my) transition rather than go from Dad home all day to Dad gone all day. Well, until next time!

Welcome Spencer

Welcome Spencer James! We are all so excited to finally say hello to "Littlest Brother".  Here is all of his Vital Information: Born Jan 10th at 12:34 pm, he weighed in at 6 lb 11.8 oz and was 19 3/4 inches long.  All of us are doing really well and we are expecting to go home today (Sunday). Jack and Logan have visited twice with Grandma & Grandpa C. Jack is pretty excited and thinks Spencer is really neat. Logan is still unsure, but he did wave and give Spencer a kiss yesterday. I think it will work out very quickly.  We received a visit also from Uncle Robert, Aunt Natalie, and Spencer's cousins Emerson and Reese. Their kids had a similar reaction. It was cute. :) Hopefully we will have more pictures uploaded soon.  Until next time!
